Two sadhus smoking ganja near the Kshipra River. . It is one of the seven sacred cities of the Hindus, and the Kumbh Mela religious festival is held there every twelve years. It is also home to Mahakal, one of the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines to the god Shiva

	Rohit Markande says: I have been to Ujjain this April..and I learnt that the The jyotirlinga at the Mahakal temple is smeared with the ashes of a dead person, who has died the previous day, everyday.
