Grandma Prophet is my grandmother (mom's mom).
Knute Lee is Clint's great-great grandfather (Clint's mom's mom's mom's dad), who raised Grandma Phyllis after she was orphaned. He didn't really speak English. He lived in Vaage, Gulbrandsdalen, Norway, and married Marie in 1882, leaving for America in 1883, and living in several places before settling the family farm in Bruce Valley (Strum, WI) in 1886. He outlived his wife, who died around May 20th, 1937, at the age of 83 years, 8 months, and 14 days, had a daughter named Berthine Johnson, and three [known] grandchildren: Phyllis Lee Prophet (Clint's grandmother), Minerva Johnson, and Kermit Johnson, all who lived on the home farm.

Mom: ...and she was obviously a dedicated student--a trait she did not pass down to me, I'm afraid.
