It's kind of sucky to have to replace a window that faces a wall. But, y'know, one used to be able to see our next door neighbor's house here -- before we built an addition that created this awkward view from 1 of our 3 windows. But as you can see, this window was having problems too -- the weather-stripping on top literally falling apart. They were super-hard to open, too, which makes it hard to stick your samurai sword into a raccoon climbing up your gutter before it rips a $500 hole in your soffit (true story).

BACKSTORY: We decided to replace the windows on the overhang of our bedroom. It's cold, they're old, discolored, one was broken and was single pane... And since we enjoy the Thompson Creek windows we got last year, we went with them again. Definitely not the cheapest, but one of the best.
