But yea -- why did they come and confiscate the videos from the hotel & gas station across the street? They have full video. Why not release 100% of it?

One day, the administration's excuse was "It is secret, due to our trial of Zacharias Moussaui". What a load.

What a red herring. We're supposed to believe that releasing the video would cause Moussaui to be innocent? I think that would only be true if something other than a 747 hit the Pentagon.

And who knows for sure? I have the only-aired-once report straight from CNN where they are at the scene of the pentagon saying "No, I don't see anything looking like a plane here."

The government certainly wants us to blindly follow what they say, but if they truly want to intelligent, fair, and moral, they would release more information to those of us who don't blindly believe what the corporate media tells us. They would be forthright. They would not try to stymie the September 11th commission, which was only formed when the victim families pretty much forced the hand of the government.

And yes, I have checked out the Loose Change videos, and probably about 30 other videos as well.

I've seen that debris before. It sure looks awful tiny for a 747 tail fin. Looks more like a painted predator drone to me.

Then there's the question of where the engines went? Engines wont vaporize in a jet fuel explosion because exploding jet fuel is pretty much what engines do. They are titanium, and roughly 8-9 feet tall. Where are they in the pictures?

Christian, I'm feeling too lazy to deconstruct the animated GIF, but Fox News gave us this "gem":

You can see the "nose" of the "plane" at the very right of the Fox News image, almost exactly at the center point between the top of the picture and the "Fox News Alert" bar. To the right of the green-ness.

No. I know of no one there. Northern Virginia has more people than some of the larger states in the country. The odds of knowing the 100 or so people who may have been on that stretch of highway at that time are extremely low. Oh, everyone has a "friend of a friend who saw it", but then when you try to get in touch with them, they mysteriously disappear as a source and cannot be contacted.

So No, I know of no one who saw it personally.

And I don't think civilians have the expertise to identify and distinguish between different types of planes at a speed of 500mph and a low altitude that most people do not see planes at.

Why would they sabotage their own department of defnse? Well first off, it was hardly sabotage. They spent a long time re-enforcing *just the wall that got hit* to be bomb-and-impact proof. Rumsfeld was on the exact oppositte side of the Pentagon. Of course, the airplane that allegedly hit it performed a 270 degree turn (very hard if you are in a civilian aircraft) in order to hit the exact side of the Pentagon that would cause the least damage.

As for the "Whys" of the matter, if you truly cannot understand the motivations for such things, I suggest you "follow the money" and look at the corporations and business connections between the countless people involved in all of this. I suggest you read up about Project For A New American Century, and even Operation Northwoods.

I suggest you research the fact that the intelligence committees knew Bin Laden was going to attack civilian targets with airplanes, sent Bush a report saying this in August of 2001, and yet somehow NORAD was given the order to stand down. I suggest you find and download the NORAD tapes, which are not supposed to be available, but indeed are if you look in the right places.

I also suggest you look at the past history of false terrror attacks created by many previous administrations of this and other countries. Hitler setting fire to his own Riechstag is a good example. There are actually quite an extreme number of Bush/Hitler parallels. ( del.icio.us/ClintJCL/AdolfHitler ). Not the least of which is the fact that the Bush family got most of its fortune as a result of dealing with Nazi companies in the 1940s, in violation of the Trading With The Enemy act. Read about it in the New Hampshire Gazette, the oldest newspaper in the country.

To say something is not plausible because you do not understand the motivations is a bit like concluding your investigation before it started.

Bomb the financial center of the country? Why? Larry Silverstein just bought a 99-year lease on the WTC center 6 weeks before the attack. He put a huge insurance policy on them, then sued in court to get double his money by counting it as two separate terror attacks. The WTC was full of asbestos and would have requierd something on the order of $90M to repair. Instead, they made billions rather than spent millions.

Many financial records that could have incriminated several companies were utterly destroyed, and the 150-million dollar store of gold that was kept in the vaults in the basements of the WTC is conveniently missing as well. (Remember how fast they carted off all the refuse -- they did not want the ability to investigate or analyze the crime scene, which is the oppositte of proper protocol in this situation.)

And yes, there probably were also bombs planted and detonated. Not "just in case" the planes missed, but in order to bring down the towers, because planes hitting steel-frames buildings do not collapse them. Research the madrid steel-framed building (that I think had fewer than the 47 columns of the WTC) that was hit by a plane and burned over 24 hours without ever falling. A lightweight aluminum plane hitting a steel framed building is like throwing a pencil into a screen door. See what the author of "Why Buildings Fall" has to say on the subject. Bin Laden himself said he was surprised the buildings collapsed. Of course he was.

Bomb would have to be planted weeks ahead. Look into WTC7. It was not hit by a plane. It was NOT one of the buildings immediately surrounding WTC1 & WTC2. It collapsed within a few hours of it all. Larry Silverstein, the renter of the complex, is on video admitting that they made the concious decision to "pull" the building -- www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6ufakK2fIc ... I suggest you look into what the term "pull" means with respect to bringing buildings down.

In short, you need to look at some of the circumstancial evidence surrounding everything; beacuse most of the actual facts have been surpressed. Like the fact that many of the 911 hijackers have turned up alive in other countries (BBC news, you can find the article inside my 911 links collection at del.icio.us/ClintJCL/911 ). Too many convenient coincidences for me to even remember and type them all into here...
