at japanese restraunts... Edamame. They must
soak them in butter sauce or something. Not
bad.
Edamames are another variety, and they pick
them green of course. I had a Japanese
roommate that said the traditional
(homestyle) way of eating them was to simply
boil and salt them. I prefer to saute with
oil (or butter, yum) and spices.

Actually, the Iowa farmers eat them crunchy, right out of the pod.
