Wonderful! The contrast from spikey to soft and fuzzy is wonderful, as the colors. I tried to shoot some bumble bees today without much luck. Wouldn't have looked quite as nice had they been shaper anyhow.

@SG - you know I was so focused on the bumblebee (I'm always so happy when I get a little critter in focus ) i didn't even pay attention to the texture change! Indeed. Spiky to soft. It does provide a neat contrast.

heh I feel you! It's always a struggle to get those spastic things in focus. I often think I'm a better AD or critic than photographer. heh The ovular shapes are great too... and colors.
