photo manipulation "story board"
"photo manipulation is the application of image editing techniques to photographs in order to create an illusion"

As I'm sure you can tell this is not made from one shot only.

But the actual number is I'm sure higher than you might expect. ME TOO ... let me think...1st is the background image form witch you can still see the sky and the horizontal line and the rest is "under"....2nd is the tall red and green field from the front...3th the armchair...4th is the birds with the white sky...then the 5th with the bird from the center... 6th is the Gothic window and last (7th) the signature.

OK so its a nice number at least... I had in mind something completely different and I'm still working on that (hopefully I will finish it and you'll see it too).

The composite view is brilliant in execution and thought. The three elements of rustic landscape, the chair and the church stained glass window are subtly combined. The arc of the window is paralleled by the bird wing sitting on top of the chair. The orange chair matches well to the red and gold field below. Above, the thrilling sky creates a cap of cloud cover to keep the eye moving down beneath the heavens. The diagonal horizon line is quite clever, in its parallel to the direction of the bird's flight.

Is there any chance you could talk through what inspired you...the process you went through to conceptualize this and how you combined those elements? This is really extraordinary, and I hope you don't mind me saying I think Salvador Dali would have loved photoshop. Scaun - timp, existenţă, mai mult reliefat de fereastra gotica/ pasari - trecere, suflete/ cer - libertate/ fereastra - pseudolibertate, "dincolo"/ rosu - incredere, pasiune, dar si sacrificiu/ orizontul inclinat -perceptia lucrurilor, ce trebuie corectata/ lumina - esenta, cautare/ apa-neliniste.
Elemente dinamice: pasarile in zbor - porumbeii, iarba miscata de vant.
Ei bine, ai provocat. Raspund.
Cate simboluri folosim, in atatea feluri putem fi perceputi. Dincolo de ceea ce facem, de ceea ce urmarim, de pasiunea pe care o punem in tot ce realizam, in ce cautam, de nelinistile creatoare, de libertatea-marginita sau nu, de lumina in care incercam sa discernem, dincolo de perspectiva noastra limitata, cautam perfectiunea, atat de greu de atins si de pastrat.
Indiferent cum ar fi de fapt realitatea, perceputa corect sau nu, ai postat o imagine in care fiecare se descopera pe sine, cu mai multe sau mai putine cuvinte. De ce? Pentru ca trairea nu se poate descrie usor in formele fluide ale cuvantului. Ea se transmite mai usor prin simbol, ce poate fi mai mult sau mai putin criptic. Lungimea de unda conteaza.
