My Chum Syrov

This guy was my best chum during the flight college years, Sasha ('Shurik') Syrov, the fellow we shared a room with for almost all the duration of the course.

As far as I know, he immigrated to Germany in late 80s, and since that time we lost the contact.

Will try to find him with best use of the Internet power.

P.S. Taken by Zorki-4 camera. I had had it for almost 20 years after my dad gifted it to me when I finished Grade 5.

Yeah, that was a college. As a matter of fact, the Soviet Union pioneered in establishing a new type of aviation training facilities which are now generally known as 'ab-initio colleges'. We spent four years and two months on the main course.
