Such a beautiful young woman! Did Natasha buy
fabric? Did you?
My only attempts at sewing were when my
children were in school plays. I can whip up
a fine, shiny tunic. My daughter was Hamlet
in a 5th grade playlet of excerpts. She did
not have to ponder "To Be or Not to
Be" with existential dread. Or tell her
mother to sleep in a chaste bed. But she had
her long hair cut for the part , talked to
her father-ghost and swore to avenge him. She
won her sword fight with Laertes without
wearing her glasses. (The teacher/director
was strict about details.).
Why didn't I take pictures of that?

She did buy some fabric, with plans of making
a summer dress. She's a sewer, I am not so
much.
Love that your daughter was once Hamlet! We
had a wonderful Shakespeare program in 6th
grade, where we learned about the time period
and did a performance of scenes. I was the
Nurse from Romeo and Juliet. "Oh, puff,
puff, puff!" That was my entrance line.
Still remember much of my lines. :) Thanks
for all the photo love today!

This is lovely. The colors of the bolt
Natasha is holding matches perfectly with her
top and her skin.
