ttv of hackjob.
ok, now that that's out of the way...
i'm not the blogging type, and as you all know don't often have all that much to contribute verbally to my photos. but i've been so out of touch with everyone for so long, so i'm going to use this excuse to catch up, in one fell swoop. and well, a grassy green springtime shot (yeah, the shot's a few months old now, i know...) seems optimistically appropriate.
first and foremost, i'm finally done with my master's...although technically the quarter ends on sunday, everything is signed, sealed, delivered, and approved. phew. now i can get on with my life - oh, and yeah, get a j-o-b too.
one of my photos is in the current issue of jpg magazine, on page 33. i'm quite pleased with that!
i have three hackjob photos in a show that opens on thursday, at the pittsburgh technology council. blindspot's in the show too with some ttv work, so i'm in good company.
i also recently got work accepted into another show, at the FE gallery in pittsburgh. they haven't selected the specific piece yet, and the show doesn't open till fall...but still good news.
there's some other stuff brewing (and lots of various applications to fill out and submit), but nothing definitive yet. i'm trying though...
i'll also be away for almost three weeks this summer at a workshop learning how to make wet-plate collodion negatives and salt prints and all sorts of old school goodies. i can't wait! so keep your eyes open for the crazy stuff that i'll be uploading later this summer.
i think that's it. is that enough good stuff to report on one blade of grass?
i'll be by to visit your streams soon!
