How do you go about making a mosaic that SNOTty? Do you use a computer program, brickpaper of some sort, or what? - eldeeem
I used Photoshop with grid lines every 10 pixels, subdivisions every pixel. For this portrait I had a photo in the background. I drew in multiples of 2x5 pixels at a time, which would be the sides of plates. I stayed completely on the grid at first (yielding 2-stud or 5-plate dimensions), but eventually offset a few sections as well (around the eyes and beard).
