“City Food for Fare Program”

Prince George, BC – The City of Prince George and Prince George Transit will be launching their “Food for Fare” initiative from December 15 - 18, 2011. Transit users can donate a non-perishable food item on any Prince George Transit bus in exchange for a free fare. All items collected will go to assist the Salvation Army this holiday season.

“We are proud to take part in helping the less fortunate in our community, this Christmas,” said Mayor Shari Green. “Let's make this initiative even better than last year.”
