Cirque Berzerk 2009 in Los Angeles Flyer (Runs Thru August 9th!)

Stylistically, LA's Cirque Berzerk is a bit grungier and more sinister than a typical circus. The 35-member troupe is a tight knit family of performers who put a dark spin on contemporary circus theater.

"Beneath," the production's theme, tells the story of a misunderstood girl who gets lured into the cabaret of the underworld through the art of acrobats, aerialists, contortionists, cabaret dancers, punk rock clowns, fire dancers, and psychedelic vaudvillian tomfoolerists.
