Funny you should put this up. I only watched Harold and Maude for the first time last night. I've always wanted to see it but finally just got around to it. Great movie and awesome soundtrack.

I love this movie too, funny enough I always seem to encounter people who loathe this movie. I have no idea why.
I truly love this movie, and have seen it too many times
to count. And yes, the soundtrack is great!

Welchtoons - I'm glad you enjoyed the movie. I first saw it about 20 years ago during a rival showing at some arthouse movie theater in the Bay Area and it really knocked me out. In general, I think Ashby's a great filmmaker. If you haven't had a chance to see any of his other films from the '70s, I highly recommend giving them all a look.

is_bumblebee - I'm glad you love it too! Anyone who loathes this movie has not heart. This will probably sound harsh, but I think you've got to be one miserable human being to dislike Harold & Maude. I mean what's not to like? I think it's one of the best films of the '70s.
