It wasn't very warm when we waited for the
sunset though. We did have a cloudless day,
but there was a cold wind and we sat,
shivering, knowing it would only get colder
as soon as that sun set! Thankfully we didn't
miss the bus and have to walk 3 miles back to
the hotel.

it's the subject matter more than my shot

You took a picture of the restaurant my
family and I ate at last summer. (umbrella's)
I didn't even have a picture of it!
Fanari Villas. It was 110 degrees (F) when
we were there. We couldn't wait for the sun
to set, so it could cool off.
Thanks for posting a picture I can send my
family to.

Very beautiful shot! This is one of my
favorite places in the world! Watching
sunsets from a bar on cliffs in Oia is about
as close to perfection as one can get.

Love the picture, was in Oia, Santorini
myself a few weeks back, but missed this
shot ( in fact only took a few shots in Oia,
none of which I've bothered to post!). I
found a lovely restaurant on the way back
from Oia to Thira and took some sunset photos
over Oia from there, some of which I have
posted. Hope you had a great holiday, you
certainly have a great photo from it!
