• Records.
  • Headset mic for Skyping
  • Sennheiser HD650 cans for... er... listening
  • Buffalo AirStation WBR2-G54S, flashed with DD-WRT and providing wifi for house as well as wired networking for my desktop, my laptop and the house's fileserver.

    Nerdstyle ftw!
  • Mmm, beer
  • The utensils of a headcold :(
  • Logitech MX400 wireless mouse dock. Mouse on desk.
  • Acer Aspire 5672WLMi laptop (you can't see them, but there's loads of stickers on the lid :)
  • Dad's Fathers' Day present (a bottle of Monkey Shoulder whiskey from Selfridge's... Because alcohol always goes down a treat)
  • More records!
  • What - you expect me to MAKE my bed after I've slept in it? I'm a student, you know.
  • The Aristocrats DVD - compulsory purchase for anybody who likes their humour to push the boundaries a little.
  • Mmm, beer
  • Bill and Ted's Bogus Adventure...

    ... It didn't cost a lot
  • Lid for record box.
  • Raw material for my tinfoil hat...

    ...What?
  • 123981293891283 way power splitter, and somehow I'm still managing to use all the sockets up AND have two other four-ways to the right of my chair!
  • Battery charger and two Duracell NiMh batteries (the other two have gone walkies).
  • More records (in courier bag).
  • My desktop... It's a monster!

And out of date, it's cryout out for an ugprade :(
  • (HORRIBLE) chair our tenancy agency kindly provided us all with for the duration of our stay.

They're slatted, and plain wood. From Ikea. They cost £10 each. In a word? Uncomfortable.
  • Terratec Aureon Mk2 USB audio interface for the laptop (because internal soundcards = invariably crap, my laptop's is no exception).
  • TOCA Race Driver 3 PC game - ace with a wheel and pedals!
  • The Big Lebowski DVD. A must-own.
  • XDA 2i (HTC Alpine) smartphone and Bluetooth GPS receiver. The phone's now retired from phone duties as I have an HTC Hermes, and it's just used as a TomTom PDA. It has a nice life now.
  • Plastic folders for coursework yet to be handed in...
  • Stand for my Samson monitor (which you can see in the next photo).
  • Bottom of wardrobe.
  • Packaging for cough medicine which is sitting on top of my PC's base unit... I am a messy person!
  • Powered 8-socket USB2 hub for my PC, currently unused.
  • Catapult! Only good enough to fire little foam balls, but still good fun.
  • Records and recordbox.

To the right... DSC08980

This is what the floor to the right hand side of my bed looks like at the moment (pre-tidy-up, because the floor has to be spotless for the end of this year's tenancy).

I'm not a tidy person. In fact, I like clutter. It makes me feel at home. Freakishly tidy rooms feel too sterile to me, and I get uncomfortable after a while... Must.. make.. mess!

Enter my room at your own risk - currently the entire room is as messy as this shot, I need to get it all cleared up and looking spotless before the end of June (as a requirement of my tenancy). Will I manage it?

Tune in next month to find out...
