Truth - AWOL

    Deserters head for Canada. Did anyone realize this?

    The man in this lead story thought he was going to Iraq to help build schools and reconstruct war torn villages. Rather, the military had him baiting the local population by putting up a fake camera with US Property written on it. Anyone who came along to tamper with it was "fair game" for being shot to death. So he went AWOL.

      Reminds me of the old joke regarding joining the US Marines - travel the world, meet exciting exotic people and kill them.

      My brother was in the Marines. The saying isn't a joke with them. Sad, isn't it?
