Duoh! 1

All I can see on my monitor! (Using Opera and 1280 x 1024 resolution.)
That's how the site is optimized.
Duoh! 1 by Christopher Hester.
Duoh! is an oustanding new website design by Veerle Pieters. But it is optimized for huge screens. The background on the right is not fully visible on smaller screens, but it just too damn good to miss. The solution? Zoom out in your browser!

"But it is optimized for huge screens." -> but it is not :) It's explained in my article that the site is optimized for 1024px but I wanted to offer an alternative for people who view the site with bigger screen resolutions. Just in case they resize their window. It is supposed to be hidden at first sight . It is designed separately from the content, with exception of the homepage where the lines blend into the page. Still it's not an essential part to make the site work.

The thing is, I didn't want to force people to open the window at a certain fixed width via scripting. I want the user to have the option to choose freely.

You can view and download all art as a desktop from my article just in case you want to see it but can't :)

Thanks Veerle! I'd add that I think more people are on 1280 wide than 1024 thesedays (though I could be wrong). In which case they'll see some of the background designs. This is where the 'frustration' comes in - people see something good, but can't see it all!

Anyway, I found a way round the problem by zooming out. Hehe. :)
