The most famous episode of the terrible intellectual property war.
A long time in the making, a very complex issue, I did my best to make
it clear. This illustration is an allegory of the battle between
corporate monopolies and public domain for the extension of
intellectual property. The legend of Achilles' invulnerability served
as inspiration, not the actual Trojan War. This design is copyright
free.
guerrier. Ce dessin est libre de droits.

Awesome, with the exception that It's not "corporate capitalism", it's "corporatism". There's nothing free market about copyright, it's a state entitlement to monopoly on a particular instance of culture or expression of information.

Thanks for this observation Mr Foerster. I agree with you, free market has nothing to do with copyright laws, but the original free market has nothing to do with our modern capitalism either. In my opinion it's clearly the entire “modern capitalist system“ who fears any change in copyright laws, hates the idea of free culture and denies any rights to public domain. Copyright is much more than just a state entitlement to monopoly, it's a business philosophy, a mercantile ideology which englobes, trademarks, patents and licenses. Everyone wants a piece of intellectual property today, some people really think they deserve legal protection for creating wealth out of nothing (ex nihilo). The problem is nobody has never created anything out of nothing, except GOD of course ...
