On the Ring of BearaAn afternoon spent winding along the Ring of Beara lead us along the edge of the island, with frequent glimpses of the Atlantic. Beautiful stuff.

This is Ireland.
And isn't it beautiful? As we continued on westward from Dingle, the road began to hug the coast. When we saw a side road that shot straight toward the ocean, we took it, and ended up winding down to a hidden, miniature beach that blew us away.

Near Dingle
Just back from four days in the most lovely country I've ever visited. On day three we drove from Dingle westward toward the Atlantic, starting at daybreak. The beauty and peace of this region are so inspiring that I'm inadequate to describe it. Note the vibrant green pastures and snow-capped mountains in the distance (when you view large).
