Solvay Coke & Gas

These were all taken at the Solvay Coke plant starting in March 2007. Many more to come in this series...Its not a very secret place but has tons of little area's to make it personal for everyone....plus people are starting to destroy it so its always changing. In addition the place is loaded with asbestos (level 1 & 2) and I kinda want to see other places...So this series will be end when they tear it down.

"The former Milwaukee Solvay Coke & Gas Co. From 1902 until it closed in 1983, Milwaukee Solvay produced metallurgical coke for the production of steel. Today, the land is a 46-acre industrial brownfield surrounded by chain-link fencing and contaminated with asbestos, heavy metals and hazardous chemicals."
