steve and i witnessed the mets lose to the dodgers on monday night. sad.

we were surrounded by boisterous dodger supporters, who were chomping away on hector commacho nachos and steve yeagermeister wheat beers.

every now and then, i felt compelled to yell out a rousing cheer for my once beloved mets, for there were so few comrades in arms in the stadium that night.

the dodger fans were not amused. however, when your team barely shows up and loses 5-1 - well, i suppose that's the best response for a dodger fan.
