a face lift :-) buy the way...the 1st horizontal bar of the scaffolding is at 8 foot highth. Monday the 20th the top decoration is mounted, then wood with a small window in that open area...and then the roof tiles put on :-) yea
piles and piles..foreground-new wood for replacements, midlle-piles of roof tiles to go back on, background is old wood removed..either rotten or full of wood worms.
a face lift- I am looking forward to completion.. anxious to get to work on flowers and beautification...but must be patient and bide my time...some things should not be rushed...then they will last for another 150 years :-)
our side meadow and view. Fore will be an orchard 10-12 fruit trees, mid will be many flowers and a small sitting ring with pond, near the house will be raised bed garden with flowers and young plants...this area gets a lot of sun though the summer

under the old apple tree (middle of photo) are 100+ tulips sleeping... surounded by old agricultural tools as barriers so men don't trample the tulip leaves as they grow
