      Oh wow! Is this the same Gaudi that designed the Casa Mila? I assume so. I didn't know he did cathedrals as well! Thanks for expanding my mind! This is so cool. Such a contrast to the rest of the fascade. Very cool.

      Yup. Totally the same guy as Casa Mila. I have pictures of that as well (outside only). Barcelona is FULL of his architecture. This cathedral is his "crowning achievement". It's been under construction for something like 120 years. Gaudi spent the last 40 years of his life working on it but was killed by a city bus in 1926. They are trying to finish it by 2026 - 100 years after he died. Which will mean it's been under construction for 140 (or so) years. Amazing.

      The famous cathedral that's forever under construction! I wish they should give it a rest....soon.
