Hello, nice boing-boing peeps...The photo was taken in an amazing food market in the Moskva district of Milan. Those are pigs ears at the bottom of the picture. It's all good stuff...mmmmm.

For all you 'merkins acting like this is evil, if you ever go to Italy, bring back a slab of it. Cut it in real thin slices, put on toasted (real) bread and eat. It's one of the most delicious delicacies ever. It just melts in your mouth, not unlike some kind of salted chocolate. There are many more ways to eat it, my preferred one being as a cold slice, let to melt by itself in the mouth ! Or used to make pan-fried potatoes. Or in little chunks over chestnut gnocchi...

And for you health freaks out there, I ate a lard sandwich at 8200m on the summit of Cho Oyu !!!
