After looking at said offer, it looks like a blend of Twitter/FriendFeed/blog spam. This was completely predictable, really. Anywhere there’s a comment section, people wanting attention, and the ability to link, you’re gonna get this sort of thing.

I’m frankly surprised you don’t see a lot more of it.
