Alyss is...in a grumpy mood. Earlier today:

Ethan: "What do you think? Do I look Hawaii enough?"

Alyss: "Why is it Hawaii? Alyss thought you said the 50th state."

Ethan: "That I did. We're cruising on south to Hawaii, our glorious 50th state."

Alyss: "The 50th...is not Alaska?"

Ethan: "Alaska's the 49th. Have you been paying attention in your history and geography classes?"

Alyss: "Alyss always pays attention in class!"

Ethan: "Just to be sure, we'll review your coursework on the cruise to Hawaii and back."

Alyss: "Hrmph. Alyss isn't going."

Ethan: "Who was it who wanted to come along with her big brother and go on a vacation?"

Alyss: "Not going."

Ethan: "Come on, it's not too late to re-pack."

Alyss: "Alyss doesn't want to go anymore."

Ethan: "How about I unpack your winter clothes and pack something appropriate for Hawaii for you? Sound good?"

Alyss: "Still not going."

(Someone's pride is just a wee bit hurt at getting the state wrong.)

The highest branches are around the early 1200's.

She required a bonnet, but this was the closest to a match we had around.

When trying to remove Jamie's stock (Dal Clair) boots, I noticed that one of the ankles was stretching and very rubbery. A little more pull, and it snapped. Thankfully I had extra legs around (and Hina Ichigo's was a decent match on color).

Clara: "What's with the dress? I never wear dresses."

Me: "You're very cute in this outfit."

Clara: "Nobody asked you to make unnecessary comments."
