Jnr has reached his 2 month birthday so I thought a little photgraphy session could be justified!

The weather forecast said that Saturday would start with a little mist after a freezing night... so 0630hrs saw a very frozen photographer scouting the countryside for great pictures of Gloucester... this wasn't what I had in my minds eye when I left the house... but I sort of like the industrial feel of it - and before anyone asks, yes, the sun striking the mist really did create that orange glow!

Jnr... a reminder of his tiny feet.... just need to work at the depth of field! Haven't quite got it perfect this time :-(

and now for something different... does it count as art... or just a blurry shot?

Lit with a single speedlight top left set to manual, zoomed into 100mm, at 1/2 powerand fired with the canon IR remote trigger.

Subsequent images had a reflector to camera left to reduce the shadows in his face but I'd missed the moment and he started crying so will try this again in the future.
