Zoe Strauss_ Under I 95_ 2008

The 7th annual Under I-95 show of Philadelphia photographer Zoe Strauss.
Zoe mounts her work directly to the concrete pillars underneath Interstate 95 in South Philadelphia. The show is free to the public, and at the end of the day everyone is welcome to remove a photo and take it with them.

This is the 7th year she has put on this show....it's a ten year project.
In past years their have been mini riots at the end of the shows.... Zoe had a solo show in New York city last year, and her work sold out at $2500 per print, so even her small give away prints are highly collectible. I wasn't there for the final hour today, so I don't know how the free for all went....
