I probably snapped this spot to death on my camera....due to the wider angle of my 18-135mm lens compared to my G12, I find that I've "lost" the ability to take my desired composition with landcapes quite a few times.
Take this capture for instance…. common sense post capture begs the question...why didn't I include the entire chair? I DON'T KNOW!!! I find that with landscapes with so much detail in the capture, I tend to miss some key elements to what could have been a KAPOW snap. Take a look at the one below, where I have the entire chair but clever me decides to leave out the tarpaulin so not only it appears I've "sliced" the boat mast but also I've lost the framing of the tarpaulin.
Grateful if my landscape friends can give me some tips when you take landscapes shots.
