watch my hair grow. it's like watching paint dry, only curlier

As of today, April 14, 2009, for the first time in about 30 years, I am chemical-free: I no longer have any chemicals in my hair. This set will chronicle my progress in growing my natural hair out. Will I be able to hold out? Will I allow it to grow all big and huge, as I embrace my inner afroliciousness? Will I re-succumb to chemical dependency?

Only the Shadow knows.
