This is a cloud chamber, designed by artist Chris Drury. It sits on a wooded path at the NC Museum of Art. While it looks like a hobbit house, it is actually a pinhole camera! The inside has 3 benches, built against white walls. A pinhole of light brings the trees inside, where you can watch the branches sway. Fantastic!
