Children's Oakland hosted its 100th birthday and kicked-off its centennial celebration at Children's Fairyland on September 8. Guests joined in the birthday parade, ate a cupcake at the birthday toast, enjoyed author readings, sang along with musical performances by KFOG's local scenes bands, and received a lot of great giveaways. It was a fun day and an amazing way to celebrate 100 amazing years of caring for kids.
