Happy Friday everyone!

Rainbow socks and I went to a record store in Hollywood and got some super sweet records for $1 each! Pat Benatar was one of the first records I ever bought way back in the day so I had to pick this up...it's good to hear her again! <3

from my train trip to the meditation retreat (remember that? it feels like it was a million years ago!)

I met some awesome people on that ride, and heard some life changing stories.

Somewhere between Santa Rosa, NM and the border of Texas on I-40 there is a tiny offramp which leads to a small scattering of abandoned houses/buildings. I found it on my Rt. 66 trip and took loads of pictures that were subsequently stolen by the pirates d' Taos. And even though I'd only been on that stretch of road once, fate brought me back by there again on my drive with my kids to Texas. More than any other place, this one speaks to me. Probably because of the state of disrepair and the skull graffiti juxtaposed with the sunny "thumbs up!" on the wall.

I'm glad I had a chance to see it again, and take pictures that I can keep :)

I'd been wanting to buzz my head for a long time, but it took Tara doing it first before I could gather the courage to just do it. And I have to say, it's pretty freaking awesome!
