Coffee Cake...best part of Fall/Winter!

today I had some strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries that needed to be eaten, so I just threw them in to the mix. Yummy.

Ray of Light

Everytime I do this, I get Madonna's Ray of Light stuck in my head:

OK, so here's the details on this:

get really fine grade steel wool.
Attach it with a wire to a belt or strap or something long enough that you can adjust the length.
light the sucker on fire
whip it around you as fast as you can

It sparks for about 10-15 seconds, after that it's just a glowing ball of heat.

Obviously, the harder and faster you spin it, the better the picture. I have a few problems with this. One, my arms get really tired. Because I am a wimp. Two, the faster I spin it, the more spastic my coordination gets, and I end up hitting myself with it. That equals burned holes in my clothes and bruises. I'm sure that doesn't happen to most people though, just the uncoordinated ones like me.
