Some are not very excited about this style of architecture.

This past week I was running errands during my lunch hour and realized that I was a half block from one of Mies' two works here in Montreal. So I sauntered over and shot up the place. Just as I was taking one of my last shots, a security guard walked into the frame. I took one shot with him in it, then waited expecting that he would either pass by on his rounds (like other had done earlier) or tell me to leave. He kindly told me photos were not allowed and that I could go to the admin office and ask permission. I said thanks. He turned to go back and I turned the other way promptly leaving the site. I was running late anyhow and had to go back to work. It's a nice little complex and luckily I had gotten off as many shots as I would have taken anyway. So there should be more to come.
