The famous maple

I'm pretty sure this is the most photographed tree in the garden, for good reason. It looks really nice from above, but it looks even better from underneath like this. The pond is just beyond, with a tiny bit of the moon bridge visible. A very foggy morning.

(What a difference a week makes. This is what it looked like when I was here eight days prior.)
