I try to use the reminder of how to do the
sign of the cross ("spectacles,
testicles, wallet, watch"), with the
words changed to "spectacles, mobile
phone, wallet, watch, keys" - except
that I've lost my spectacles, so the first
bit doesn't make sense, and you need a fifth
for "keys", which disturbs the
rhythm, and when I get to the end, I remember
that it might be a day when I want my camera,
or iPod, or a pen. It doesn't really work. I
am truly Pnin.

To elaborate on justrick's question, can you
please tell us where this is available for
purchase? I'm sure you're going to get a lot
of people asking about it. Thanks! =]

Or better: Who's first making an online store
selling custom made versions of these? Type
in your own text and have it delivered at
your door (pun intended) three weeks later.

Hahaha. I used to always make that check as I
stepped out the door. I'd check my keys, then
pat my back and then front pockets, in the
same order as on the mat.

Very cute, but if the list actually contained
everything you may need when you go out the
door (as featured on the little laminated
card I carry in my wallet - sad, I know), the
type would be impossibly small. How about a
doormat that just reads, "check your
checklist"? :-)

I took this picture at the gift shop of the
Stockholm Tourist Info Center near Central
Station (Metro). But the doormats are
actually sold by DesignTorget www.designtorget.se
