Fall Family Portrait

    Newer Older

An awesome day with a young lady who plays softball with my daughter and her family. We tried (and succeeded) to capture a nice family portrait. They were very fun to work with...

    Strobist Info:
    Nikon D300, Sigma 24-60 f2.8 EX
    ISO 100 (-1 Under 200, F5.6, 1/250, rear curtain sync, matrix metering.
SB-800 on cam used as fill and commander @ -1EV with a Chuck Gardner light modifier. SB-600 off camera fired into a 43" convertible umbrella used conventionally, about 4' to the left and held up high by an assistant. Fired via Nikon CLS/AWL.
In reality, they were both being used to just lift the shadows softly.

PP performed in Capture NX2 and PSP X2.

    Another example here.
