The heavenly dragon which signify olden Chinese zodiac year of the 5th rank immortal dragon is display at Chinatown on January, 2012.
The lunar Year of uttmost auspicious dragon's Light Up at Singapore most authentic chinatown was officially launched on Jan-1-2012 by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong as special Guest of Honour.
Along Eu Tong Sen Street, New Bridge Road, South Bridge Road, Garden Bridge of chinatown with high intense illuminative decoration of dragon motifs and colourful fairy lights, traffic drive past a 108 metre long 3D water dragon symbolising longevity and prosperity along New Bridge Road in Chinatown Singapore. Its design and the surrounding Chinese New Year lights was conceptualised by six undergraduates from the Singapore University of Technology and Design.
