When threatened, the animal delivers powerful kicks and can slash open
an animal or person. It has been rumored to kill the odd human, it is
certainly capable of inflicting serious harm. If you ever visit
Australia and you happen to cross paths with the bird, you would be
wise to be very wary of the wild cassowary!
The cassowary can grow to be 6ft high and weigh 130 pound. It is the largest bird, second to the Ostrich and Emu
