Here Comes the Mid-Century Bride

    Ladies' Home Journal, June 1958. These magazines are so gigantic, it's hard to get them scanned in using my scanner with its tiny scanning bed. So here are a few of my first attempts to use photomerge in Photoshop.

      Oh, my gosh, I'm such a nerd. I never get girly or misty over modern bride's mags, but seeing something like this makes me want to plan a wedding all over again. I love the daisy bouquet.

      I love all the color of this cover, too.

      Modern Bridal magazines are very scary things, make the wrong suggestion and they'll slap you down so hard you'll squeak.

      I have about a half a hundred weight to go through...

      ;___; Wow that is almost identical to the dress im having made for my wedding soon even her hair is identical to mine! the only thing different is the veil.. mine is flowers.
      *Swoon* shes sooo cute. I hope ill look at least half as cute as her!

      You know I did do very similar except with chrysanthemums rather than daisies. I think this magazine cover was the inspiration.
