Ben Nevis at 4,409' - Emerging above the Cloud from the CMD Ridge
As we started across the CMD Ridge, there was a cloud inversion and the Ben emerged like a volcanic island out of the sea of cloud.
Unfortunately we had to descend back into the cloud to cross the tricky, snow covered, CMD ridge before ascending back into the sunshine on the summit of Ben Nevis.
