Excavation, Day 5Office window Water feature on the wall Isn't your bedroom like, right here? urgent concrete removal. At 5am. Across from the bedroom. See note to left. As a matter of fact, YES. My head was right about... here. One of three tiny windows above our headboard. perfect spot for a burglar to lie in wait ![]() This is the alley between the main house (left) and the guest house (right). A week ago it was a concrete sidewalk and some scrub bushes along the sides. We're putting pavers down over the whole walkway with big planters along the walls for herbs and other plants that will do well out of direct sunlight. There's a hanging water feature going on the guest house wall across from the office window, too. (See notes.)
This photo has notes. Move your mouse over the photo to see them.
And there's going to be a tall curved wall that cuts across the guest house patio. I... that was Randy's go-ahead. The best part about this is that Randy had to cut through the existing patio in order to make a path for the wall, so now he's got the house jacked up. With a jack. The house. On a jack. Holding up the house. On a block of wood. On some dirt. A jack. CommentsErin!
