Real snowflake

This is one of most beautiful stellar dendrite snowflakes that i captured past winter, but it was hard to process because of aligning problems (wind shifted and rotated it during serial shooting). It's diameter was around 5-6 millimeters from tip to tip.

8 serial shots averaged to boost signal-to-noise ratio. Background: dark woolen fabric, natural light (gray clouded sky), external optics Helios 44M-5, January 2013, Moscow.

Here you'll find variant on blur background, and here - another, smaller stellar dendrite snowflake with similar structure.
