The Dylan image is actually a set of nine coasters that form Dylan's image, which is the cover of New Morning.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Fred Brooks speak at Etsy in June 2010: codeascraft.etsy.com/2010/06/08/fred-brooks-at-etsy/

I got to hang out with him for quite some time, and he signed my copy of Mythical Man-Month. The inscription reads:

"For Chad Dickerson. Thanks for hosting me, and sharing Greenville. Fred Brooks 2010"

It turns out that Fred Brooks grew up in my hometown of Greenville, NC! That was a nice surprise given that Greenville is a fairly modest place. His Southern drawl made me immediately comfortable, as it sounded like my dad, my uncles, and other folks I grew up with down there (and probably me, too, until I spent 10 years in California and 3 in NYC).
