Tower of Terror

Tower of Terror

Anyone ever see the film based on the ride?

"Tower of Terror is a 1997 made-for-TV supernatural thriller directed by D. J. MacHale. It is based on the theme park attraction, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, at Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida and was originally a presentation of The Wonderful World of Disney. The film revolves around the fate of five people - singer Carolyn Crosson, her boyfriend Gilbert London, child actress Sally Shine (who is modeled after child actress Shirley Temple), her nanny Emeline Partridge, and bellhop Dewey Todd, who were about to attend a party at the Hollywood Tower Hotel in 1939 when a bolt of lightning struck the elevator they were in, causing them to vanish. Since then, the Tower is believed to be cursed and haunted by their spirits."

Atlas

Atlas

"Atlas is a bronze statue in front of Rockefeller Center in midtown Manhattan, New York City, across Fifth Avenue from St. Patrick's Cathedral. The sculpture depicts the Ancient Greek Titan Atlas holding the heavens. It was created by sculptor Lee Lawrie with the help of Rene Paul Chambellan, and it was installed in 1937.

The sculpture is in the Art Deco style, as is the entire Rockefeller Center. Atlas in the sculpture is 15 feet tall, while the entire statue is 45 feet tall, as high as a four-story building. It weighs seven tons, and is the largest sculpture at Rockefeller Center."

Disney's Animal Kingdom: Asia

Disney's Animal Kingdom: Asia

"Asia was the first expansion area added to Disney's Animal Kingdom, first opening in 1999. Like Africa, the section's attractions are part of a fictional place, the kingdom of Anandapur (which means "Place of many delights"). Portraits of Anandapur's royal family, the Maharajah and his wife, can be found in most of the businesses. Much like Harambe, Disney legend states that Anandapur is now a center of animal research and tourism."
