Aftermath of Sunday:
Using potions of flight the loyalists responsible for the destruction of the crystal key took the offensive. The Magus Julia rained fire down behind the siege wall forcing the Githyanki troops into an early assault.
Reacting quickly archers from the buildings to the sides of the street fired a hail of arrows augmented by Githyanki Spellswords, forcing the band to scatter and the Magus back. As they did the surviving troops began to push the siege wall.
Hoping to confuse them and break their ranks Morganne a Seeker of the Song uses powerful mind altering musics to alter the archers desires. Yet, steeled by the beating war drums they continue their barrage targeting her and Julia as the Dervish Arman searches for a way to defend them.
As the siege wall continues it push towards the Inner Wall Oramus a Priest of the War Goddess erects a short wall of stone to block their path. Locked in place the Tattooed Warriors fight to shift the wall to move around. As they do Morganne releases a potent glitterdust spell blinding many of the second company.
Even as the loyalists fight to hold the advancing warriors at bay the Githyanki forces unleash their "hounds". Charmed Chimera fly from their pins inside the the forward homes sent to cut down Julia and Morganne . Moving quickly Arman drops onto the back of one of the beasts as the defending shields release a barrage of arrows at the flighting nightmares.
The fight continues as the Magus creates fields of cold to blind one of the Githyanki mages and the oncoming troops. Yet, with the minds of automatons the press until they can overturn the massive siege wall to rush the Inner Walls of the capital. Some fall still blinded by Morganne's glitterdust, Flanking unites move to protect their comrades against Arman and archers.
