I am sooo jealous of your woodwork. It's going to be ages before mine looks anything like that!

Well, this is about 90 years of patina and good care. We are fortunate that none of the public rooms have ever been painted. The woodwork is a little unusual in that it was done "two-tone", which makes it a lot lighter than many original bungalows. It is an amazing house filled with surprises, including a cabinet to hold the leaves for the dining room table. Thanks for your comment!

Waa! I want a Craftsman so badly. And lighter woodwork is perfect. My SAD makes it too hard for me to be anywhere dark anymore. What a great house!

Sorry to hear about the SADS. I moved from NY to SF about 14 years ago, and although I am still a horrible person, I am of a much cheerier disposition. I could never go back to plain white walls ever again now that I have been Craftsmanized...

I assume it is original to the house. It is pretty old.
