This is one of the six domes corresponding to the six bullet points in the Democrats' agenda for their first 100 hours or whatever it is now that they pwn the U.S. Congress again. Or something. :)

That's me in front of the building (butterfly on shoulder), and friend Eleanor (in the nice purple dress) just visible inside. The little pedestal to the left you can touch and get a copy of a Democratic policy paper or something.

Eleanor, being well-connected, got an invite to the invite-only part of the opening of the new Capitol sims in Second Life, and when it was opened to the public shortly after she TPd me in and we looked around. Later on I spent an hour or two talking to one of the folks who worked on the build. It's nicely done, but I dunno if it'll catch on as a place to meet and greet and talk politics or not; you never know...
