We're supposed to get a hard freeze over the next two nights, down to 28 degrees, which is pretty durned cold for Florida! Tiger Lair, (Susan) has made me aware of a precious cat named Tigger who lives at Sugar Mill Gardens. Tigger will be facing sub freezing temps tonight and tomorrow without any place to go in and stay warm. I was so concerned that I grabbed a blanket and went to find him. when I did, the poor thing was laying in the sun, on hard rocks at the sugar mill, and trying to sun himself. He sneezed when I was standing there talking to him, and his nose looked wet, which isn't good in cats, and could be a sign of an upper respiratory infection. So, I placed the blanket next to him on the ledge, and he looked at it like "what the heck am I supposed to do with THAT, Lady?!" I walked around a bit, taking pics, and when I came back to him, he was lying on the blanket, looking quite content. I am hoping that he'll crawl under it if he needs to tonight, and that no one removes it tomorrow since it's on the ruins. I hope they'll realize it's for Tigger!
So, Susan, if you see this, I'm thinking about your Tigger boy and praying he'll make it through the next couple of nights just fine!
